Being part of the Allgäu Hospital Association, Kempten Hospital is the main provider in the region for ensuring medical care close to home. From basic and standard care to high-performance medicine, almost 28,000 inpatients are treated per year. It is the largest hospital in the Allgäu region with 510 planned beds, 15 main departments and several certified interdisciplinary centres (oncological focus). It also functions as a supraregional trauma centre with approval for the DGUV's Serious Injury Type Procedure (SAV). Approximately 1,700 staff are employed at the Kempten site.
"All our expectations concerning the system have been completely fulfilled since it went into operation. The high level of acceptance and satisfaction on the part of the employees proofs us right that we have carried out this restructuring of the workwear management." says Wolfgang Weinert, Operations Manager at Kempten Hospital.
