Assosistema meets KEMAS in Milan

Last week we had the pleasure and privilege to host in our Italian (KEMAS/KEBA) offices in Milan the Italian Joint Meeting of the Integrated Health Services and Workwear Sections, organised by Assosistema Servizi.

It was a great opportunity to share visions and strategies in what seems to be the main driver and priority in all market sectors: digital transformation.

During the meeting, we have been able to put at the disposal of the most important representatives of industrial laundries their expertise and digital knowledge, applied by KEMAS in many sectors, with a focus on solutions for the automated distribution of textiles, uniforms for industry and for emergency rooms, both in hospitals and in companies. It was a great honour to be introduced to the members by the President, Mr. Marco Squassina, and the General Manager, Mr. Matteo Nevi. After an extremely constructive exchange that was able to cover the entire value chain, starting from the current level of digitalisation in Italy, through the supply chain processes in the public sector, to arrive at the best practices and solutions to be applied, the meeting continued with a presentation of KEMAS solutions, opening also a test and demonstration period with one of the compact cabinet solutions that the participants had the opportunity to see in reality, operate and test.

Participants were also introduced to the great innovation that KEMAS is introducing in the sector: the Room Solution. A patented new approach to the automated distribution of textile and workwear, which allows users to physically access an open area and freely pick up garments in a simple, natural and fast way, with all items automatically registered in their personal account for easy management.
